Tennis has been an important part of my life ever since my grandfather sat me down to watch Wimbledon and watched Maria Sharapova play Serena Williams in the Ladies final, he called me over and said “Watch this young new girl” I’ve been obsessed with the sport ever since.
Coming from a football family it took a while to convince them that tennis is by far a better sport and my tennis lessons started. Roll on a few years and I was playing at the magnificent SotoTennis Academy in Sotogrande Spain, led by the amazing Dan Kiernan, himself a former British No 1 Doubles player.
Now I’m currently studying Sports Coaching and Psychology, I’m a qualified LTA and PTR coach and looking to enter the coaching arena.
While I’m not studying, my time is spent watching games, analysing stats and this site is dedicated to all things Courtside.
I hope you enjoy it.
